Yesterday we celebrated Isaac's 2nd birthday. He enjoyed time with his 'friends' at daycare during the day yesterday sharing mini cupcakes and wearing a special birthday hat that the other toddlers made for him. Also, it was the one nice(r) day outside this week, so the toddlers were able to be outside playing in the afternoon, which is always a good time. Isaac was having a grand 'ole time with his big Tonka dump truck (as usual) when I arrived. On the way home (after a stop at the library to play with the train table for a bit), we picked up Isaac's favorite cheese pizza and headed home to meet up with Joel. We enjoyed a tasty supper of pizza, salad, and later had birthday cupcakes (chocolate - Isaac's choice). We opened the stack of gifts we had been saving from the mail over the last several days and enjoyed the contents of those gifts until bathtime/bedtime. Tomorrow we head to The Edge, an indoor water park, to enjoy water slides and plenty of splish-splashing and continue the birthday celebration. More pics to follow...
