the Bearded Blunder
Today Isaac and I picked up Joel and went out for a lunch date. While in his high chair, Isaac was being his usual (very) social self, making sure he said 'hi' to everyone (and everything) until they acknowledged him in some way. Amidst our conversation, Joel and I stopped when we heard Isaac starting to enthusiastically say, "Ho, Ho, Ho!" We turned around and noticed a middle-aged man with a beard. This is not the first time Isaac has made that connection. Ever since Christmas-time when we would read books with Santa in them or see Santa somewhere, he would proudly exclaim, "Ho, Ho, Ho!" Apparently now everyone he sees with a beard he makes the same association. Wonder if he thinks they are Santa, or maybe it's just the fact that they have a beard. At any rate, it is kinda funny.
