Birthday, Part 2

Last Friday morning, Joel and I took Isaac to the 'Edge,' a large indoor water park here in Duluth (as a belated birthday event). We all had a great time. Isaac was particularly curious (and not so sure) about the "big bucket" (pic included) in the tots area. Every few minutes, it would begin ringing a bell noise and then tip gallons of water down onto the play area, drenching everything and everyone within reach. One time Joel and Isaac were in the middle of the play area getting ready to go down a slide when it tipped, and Isaac was sure surprised! It has left quite an impression because even now, days later, he still says 'big bucket - SPLASH!' Other favorites included the 'lazy river' and a baby wade pool with baby basketball. Papa and Isaac had a great time playing 'dunk' the basketball. We even had success with the ear plugs as you'll notice the orange in Isaac's ears in some of the pictures. We'll definitely be going back to the Edge, and know that Isaac will enjoy it even more in his later years when he can really run and enjoy the bigger slides, tubes, etc (as his Papa did!).
