Winter Fun

It's been awhile since I've posted. We've been busy these past couple of months catching up from the Holidays, battling some minor illness in our household and trying to keep up with Isaac! To get a sneak peak on the past couple of months, visit our photos here:

This past weekend we attended the Lake Superior Family Fun Fest at the Duluth Entertainment & Convention Center (DECC). The community of Duluth knows what it's doing planning an indoor carnival for families with young kids on a weekend in February! Isaac went on his first mini-carnival rides including a "choo-choo train" and a "horsie" (merry-go-round). We also got to see police cars, fire trucks which Isaac was super excited about. He sat in his first police car - hopefully an event that will not repeat itself anytime in the future! Here are a few photos from the rides:

Saturday being the beautiful day that it was, we decided to then head outside later in the afternoon and enjoy the warmer weather. We had fun "getting dirty" in the snow and taking turns giving Isaac a sled ride mostly in our alley-way which was ice/slush and perfect for dragging a sled! Check these out:

Even though we've had many fun winter times and memories, we are all looking forward to Spring. Happy March!
